Welcome

Heart disease is the leading cause of death of both men and women in the United States. One person in three suffers from cardiovascular disease and an individual dies of it every 36 seconds. The good news is that much of it is preventable. You can actually stop heart disease in its tracks.

Southeast Missouri Hospital wants to help you avoid more serious situations later by taking simple steps now. Start by taking our free Heart Health Assessment and learn your risks for cardiac disease. Then you can begin to pay attention to “hidden” warning signs and work to adopt healthier habits as needed.

When you have finished the assessment, you will have identified the factors that put you at risk for heart disease and understand what your risk level means. Share your report with your personal physician if you have questions or concerns. You can also take advantage of our monthly Heart Smart screenings. Call HealthLine at 1-800-800-5123 to learn more.
